Believe me, I would never tell anyone what to believe but at 58 years old, I have read my fair share of philosophy and find most of it to be empty and devoid of spirit (including much of what is considered "Christian" philosophy). Logic and reason only go so far as related to our development as humans. Not that philosophy is not helpful in many ways because it is but putting full faith in it will bring you eventually to a dead end in my personal view. Simply put, trusting in the ideas of men is folly which Plato himself stated. You are young and have life in front of you while I am approaching death so therefore, our outlooks are very much different. I encourage you to stay on the path you have chosen because eventually it will lead you somewhere.
