Benjamin, we have gone back and forth a few times and I certainly never considered you "militant" by any means. Scholasticism first introduced by Augustine and then taken further by Anselm and Aquinas really ruined the Western Church. One just can't rationalize God. Thought of you recently because I think you might be interested the book "Thinking Orthodox" by Dr. Eugenia Scarvelis Constantinou. Literally, I am giving you ammunition in your retorts to the Western Christian mind.
