Early on in the war here in Ukraine, residents and officials of Kharkiv who were almost occupied and under constant attack, made their own video rendition of "Stayin Alive". Consequently, where are my Toughskins plaid pants from Sears? Anyway, throughout the war on quiet nights in Kyiv as I smoke a cigar on the balcony and have I drink, my playlist is Chaka Khan/Earth, Wind and Fire/Kool and the Gang/Gloria Gaynor/Wild Cherry, etc... Funny that I proudly wore a "Disco Sucks" in the 70's growing up because as a rocker, it just wasn't cool. Now, I find solace in those old disco songs as well as the hippie folk rock that I spurned for the heavier sounds of metal. Ok, ok, I must admit to listening to "War Pigs" frequently as well, it is our reality in Ukraine. Groovy post, Doc, I ain't jive talking.
