Excellent piece as usual. Sitting in Kyiv as a complete non-Ukrainian US citizen, I see how strong and resilient the Ukrainian people are and also how unsure of themselves they can be. Really hoping some of the veterans of the war can get involved after the fighting is done and use their tactical and strategic management skills to move the country forward. And yes, the self-deprecating humor is an awesome characteristic that I love about the people here. Peace. Slava Ukraina!
