Excellent piece of political science. My wife (a native of Belarus) and I have been discussing something along the lines of the Intermarium ever since the muscovites started attacking us in Kyiv last February. The UK, Poland and Ukraine have already agreed to the foundation of a new alliance when PM Boris Johnson was still in office. It was swept under the rug a bit so don't know where it stands at present. However, I will disagree with you on the spiritual point. Here in Ukraine, there is already a growing alliance between the Orthodox and the Greek Catholics, a sort of mutual respect and understanding (Full Disclosure: My wife and I are Orthodox). Now, there will probably never be a Uniate pact but these are building blocks that make a good foundation. Additionally, with a Ukrainian victory, one could revive the Kyivan Rus alongside the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth thus giving a historical foundation. My wife and I have often said that Ukraine doesn't need NATO to defeat the muscovites. It needs the US, UK, Poland and the Baltics. That would be strong enough militarily and geopolitically to get the job done. Finally, don't discount Romania, they have excellent military leadership, conservatism (under Orthodoxy) and are well integrated into NATO combined tactics.
