I think you have neglected to reveal that those of us 300 million or so Orthodox Christians don't abide by the Western Scholastic definitions of God. So, the ancient tradition is alive and well within Christianity it just doesn't appeal to the majority of Western Christians. Our resources (many still in print) go back to the early Desert Fathers along with many other writers in the Philokalia. The Liturgy of St. John Chrysostum adopted by the Orthodox Church around 404 A.D. has been in use since that time and except for certain parts of the year (Great Lent) is heard in churches throughout the world. During Great Lent, we use the Liturgy of St. Basil (also from the 4th century). You seem to be seeking something that already exists and has existed in continuity since the time of the Apostles.
