If you have time, take a look at "The Beginning and the End' by Nikolai Berdyaev. His ideas on eschatology are worth exploring. I guess he is what you might call a "Christian Existentialist". BTW, I am reading him from here within the Russo-Ukrainian War so my view is probably a bit tainted.
