Mama Loves Walmart More Than She Loves Me
1 min readOct 9, 2020
The drabness of consumer existence
Woe, woe, woe’s me.
Momma loves Wal-Mart more than she loves me
She rides down the aisles, looking at the color tv’s
She knows all the greeters and who had babies
My momma loves Wal-Mart more than she loves me
She can’t come to dinner cause something’s been marked down
Momma do you really need that wind-up toy clown?
One day she’ll be gone, no she won’t be around
I’ll be left standing here, my face in a frown
Momma, how come you love Wal-Mart more than you love me?
