Napolean and Hitler made the mistake of attacking "Russia" in winter. Now Putin is making the mistake of attacking Ukraine during winter with troops that have lousy equipment and probably 2nd or 3rd rate cold weather gear while the Ukrainians have large supplies (and more coming) to keep their troops motivated. Sitting here in Kyiv watching this is like seeing one of those really bad (but funny) Soviet comedies from the 60'sand 70's but in truth it is a tragedy. Russia's generals have got to see the absurdity of all this...or do they?
