Natasha is pretty much in the same boat as you. I remember reading "The Last Soviets" by Svetlana Alexievich a few years ago and thinking maybe she was right. Now, I know she was wrong. The disease of that era still lives and it lives strongly. How will we ever heal? How will we ever be able to go to Belarus and see those who sat on the sidelines? How will we forgive? Man, I wish I knew.
