Nice piece and you have captured the Bard of America's style in a rather eerily accurate manner. I grew up in Woodbury (Patti Smith's youthful territory) so this piece resonates with me. Every Saturday, I delivered flowers to Grace Baptist Church in Camden and was stationed one weekend a month with the Army Reserves on Federal Street. My Aunt Jewel and Uncle Carl were some of the last white holdouts from the factory age when the economy was good. They were in East Camden and both stayed there until they died in the 90's despite the decline. Makes me want to dig oit my collector's edition of "Leaves of Grass". Peace, love and cheesesteaks!
