Nice write-up. I am Jersey Shore boy in the Ukraine War (as a resident, not a soldier). Listening to Bruce brought me comfort when the fighting was close to us. Now, I listen to him when I remember all things Jersey or get sentimental. Was lucky enough to be backstage at one of his shows in DC about 25 years ago. He had that raw Jersey working-class energy then and he seems to have not lost it despite moving to the posh horse country. Love, peace and bacon grease (Man, I miss diners< can ya tell?)
