Ok, good points and very well stated. You clearly define the problem. But, what's the solution or alternative system? The happiest people live in social democracies operating as capitalist systems (Norway, Sweden, Finland...). Clearly, the failures of full blown socialism and communism are not an option. So what system will work? Clearly, we are not going back to an agrarian based system or any other of the major failures.
