Really liked this piece. I can identify even though I am 20 years in on my marriage. Here's the thing. I think many dudes want a "foxhole buddy" as their partner. As a fomer US Marine, I can say that my wife is my foxhole buddy. Believe me, we jarheads never use that term lightly.
