This is my favorite essay of yours so far. I can't ever say I completely understand Ukrainians and what they have gone through any more than I can say that about African-Americans in my own country. However, total immersion in Ukrainian culture and society has assisted me in accomplishing a better understanding. I am glad we stayed in Ukraine throughout the full-scale invasion and have integrated into our neighborhood and local Orthodox church. We need more people like you to share these types of thoughts with the world. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
