This is one of your best articles so far as it describes the grim reality of what the Russian military is having to come to terms with even as they throw more and more cannon fodder at the Ukrainians. I am logistician by trade with a client in the US(non-military) and have been working remotely here in Kyiv throughout the war. These issues became apparent within the first month and have only gotten worse for the Russians. Obviously, their rage in the Kremlin and elsewhere is also growing so we don't know the end game for them. We face the fact that maybe we all get nuked and Ukraine becomes a wasteland for years. This is our worst case scenario reality but nonetheless, it is a possible reality. Yet we stay anyway. We live our lives, eat, drink, go to cafes and bane and keep on keeping on. Being a part of history whether you end up as a cinder or a victor seems to feel worth it.
