Tom, Good Afternoon from the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains where we are displaced from our home in Kyiv for now. We realists who are in Ukraine appreciate the straight talk. Based on Telegram channels I monitor here, I know that the situation is more than just "difficult". Ukraine has to send certain signals to its people to keep their spirits and psyches up. Here in the rear, we have to keep the economy rolling, the troops supplied and prevent the easy creep of alcoholism. We realists also know that this battle may be a setback but it most certainly is not the end of the war or a complete defeat. Neither will it likely be the chance for the RF to launch a major offensive IF those NATO weapons reach the front within the next month or so. Anyway, take care and keep the truth coming, Tom. Every time I go the Viennese Cafe here in "Little Vienna", I think about you and your hard work throughout this conflict. The strudel is one of the best I have ever had. Cheers.
