Um, sitting here in the actual war, it never ceases to amaze me how clueless people really are about the actual facts and circumstances. Putin stays in power unless someone his circle kills him or hundreds of thousands of Russians go out together and start taking over Moscow and St. Petersburg. The probability of either of these scenarios is pretty much null at this point. Here in Ukraine, we don't expect anything to happen until we take Crimea back which is at best this summer\fall. Putin won't quit on his own, he's got too much skin in the game at this point.
