Um, the "Stalin starved Ukraine" is Nazi and Western propaganda? Come to Kyiv and visit the Holodomor Memorial and ask some actual Ukrainians whose families suffered through it. Come to Ukraine, Belarus and Russia and see the actual effects of Stalin's policies and projects that have left still bleeding deep scars on the people, the culture and economy. Then, after you have spent considerable time in these places (at least a year to gauge the full impact that 70 years of Communism had) after that make your argument in Stalin's and Communism's favor. Idealism is for those without their own ideas.
