We have found that our living expenses here in Chernivtsi are much lower than Kyiv. We are still warm and have electricity here. Take a train. Get out for a few days. Go to banya (there's a good one on Reitrarska St in the yard where the crow mural is). I worry about you two. Keep writing. You are braver than us for sticking it out in Kyiv. I'd probably lose my job and my mind if I stayed.
