Well, Doc, I sit here in my flat in Kyiv with my "druzhina" which is the Ukrainian word for wife (she is Half Ukrainian\Half Belarussian) and is strong as they come. She cut her teeth with me in Jersey so considers herself a full-fledged Jersey Girl (so just imagine the total package). Anyway, if you go deeper into history, "Amazons" feared by ancient Greece came from these lands as did Scythian warrior women. Don't think the Russians thought this one through at all. Slava Ukraina!
