Well, Jim, I am not a professional writer in any way, shape or form. I make paltry sums on Medium but am not here for the money. Here's what I can tell you, I have formed a small intellectual brother\sisterhood over the digital sphere that I regularly read and interact with. Being in the Ukraine War has allowed me to produce some of my best material (I have been writing as a hobby for a good 25 years as a creative\spiritual outlet). Now the best material comment is what my wife told me and next to God, the only person I truly trust. That being said, the building project seems like it would be interesting to read about as well as your adventures in Poland (I, too, am having a sad go at learning Ukrainian). So, in conclusion, Medium has its benefits and mostly with finding a connection on a more personal\intellectual level. Personally, I would prefer to speak in person, drink Ukrainian cognac and smoke cigars with people but in our ever-changing world, that is just not always possible. Take care.
