Well written and alarmingly true from my experiece with English cuisine. I was a Yank working as an "Illegal Immigrant" in Staines at a hotel pub many moons ago. We lived on Shepherd's and Steak and Kidney pie along with Marmite with the occasional fish-n-chips. I still love Marmite and it is a regular part of my diet (high B-12 content). Now you have me wondering if I will be able to find it here in Kyiv. Cheers!
