Well, you opened yourself up for a lot of criticism obviously. As an American in Kyiv (been here since 11/20) I can't help but cringe every time some fellow Westerner waxes expert on Ukraine. The western mind often is unable to grasp all the issues and points of view that exist in this pluralistic society. I am just a resident here and even though I am Orthodox and my wife is a native of Belarus, I don't think I'd be comfortable telling Ukraine what it should do or how it should do it. Self-determination is up to you Ukrainians and the world needs to respect that. They will now after 53 days of war. What's most important is how the government conducts itself after the war. Personally, based on what my Slavic wife tells me, Arestovych seems to have the most realistic view. And well, a wise wife is a treasure so I will take her word for it. Slava Ukraina!
