Wes, my mom is now 82 and has been living with chronic pain since she was about 40. She just muddles through every day, lives on her own in county retirement home on Social Security and Medicaid. Her name is Audrey and she has a cat for company. Of course, my brothers who are close by help her in many ways and I call her from here in the war zone about once a week. Here's the thing. She's always chipper when I call and rarely complains but talks about her travails in a matter-of-fact kinda way. So, you can do it and get through it if you want to. If I knew her secret I would tell you, believe me. How about doing something on YouTube, TikTok or along those lines? Maybe read your writing out loud (been considering this one myself at least for poetry) or learn slide guitar and write some blues songs? "If you wanna sing the blues you got to pay the dues." - Ringo Starr. Found you through Tristan. That's my two kopecks from here in Kyiv.
