Yep, I am with you. Moved to Ukraine in the midst of COVID to get closer to my wife's roots on a meager (remote) salary by American standards. In Ukraine, we are solidly in the middle class and that's ok despite the war. Your tidbits of wisdom are what is needed for many of those flailing around with excuses.
