Yes, a very deep insight. What the world really needs is a deeper look into Ukrainian culture at this point. Perhaps all those Russian studies programs in the West who call themselves "Slavic" but who are actually Russian in reality, should revisit their curriculum and understand how imperialism has buried centuries of Ukrainian culture. I, as an English-speaking resident of Ukraine, know I have barely scratched the surface of Ukrainian culture. Some good things will come of this war and I think a better understanding of Ukrainian culture will be one of them. I was always fascinated with the Russian Channel One series "Ekaterina", "Sophia", "Rasputin", and their adaptation of Bulgakov's "The White Guard" which has quite a bit of anti-Ukrainian sentiment despite being shot in Kyiv. The ancient history of Ukraine must be reclaimed then work its way to the modern. Just my two cents. Peace.
