Yes, brother, I made the same choice but haven't really gone public with and don't intend to other than this response. Last week, my wife and I went to the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra (Monastery of the Caves) where monks\]hermits from the 10th-11th century dug out old Viking caves and spent their lives in solitude and prayer. Their relics (remains) lie within those caves where many pilgrims come to venerate them every day. I was profoundly affected by this experience and have thus decided to scale back digital life even more than I already had. Not going to live in a cave but find that contemplation and more meaningful interaction with God and Man is what is needed. Last night, the Russians rained down rockets on us again here in Kyiv and I was at peace knowing that if He wants me, He will take me. There is nothing that can stop it when it comes. It brings a complete sense of acceptance and peace. God bless.
