You make some very excellent points. However, even in our suffering, we are a spoiled nation. These days, I walk the streets and alleys of Kyiv and see what true suffering looks like. And, I have seen it in other countries. What we as a nation should realize, is how good we have it compared to a good portion of the rest of the world. And, that we have far more capacity for internal change than many other societies because of our ingenuity and resources. But just like in AA, the first and most difficult task is admitting you have a problem and asking for help. We are often too blind or proud for that.
